depended on it for their college years. Then 12 years after their father's

He also turned his back on the academy of actor's union, which pissed off a few

At his last state of the union address, he threw down the massive budget and
proclaimed that if Congress ever sent him another one like that "I will not sign
it". No one noted at the time that he would never have the opportunity to act
on his threat since he would be out of office. What a fraud!

You forgot to mention that by negotiating with the Iranians who held the
Americans hostage, they made the diplomatic efforts of the legitimate president
ineffective. This kept the hostages in Iran until after the election. They
timed everything so that President Carter would be discredited and Reagan
elected. They used illegal actions to influence a presidential election and the
nation doesn't seem to care.

"gay cancer" a punishment for bad choices and sinful lifestyles).
We in California remember Ronald Reagan as a governor before he went to
Washington. He closed most, if not all mental health facilities, turning many
lost souls out onto the streets without support or medication! Pat - California
opening the doors to the psychiatric hospitals and long-term care facilities
while cutting mental health benefits, limiting the ability of community mental
health centers to provide on-going care, and "dumping" patients who had been in
the longterm care sites onto the streets with no protection or provisions for

corporate holdings in the hands of a few super-rich individuals and sent the DOW
and NASDAC into hyperinflation.

When governor of California, he turned thousands of mentally ill persons out onto
the streets, without any assistance. Too bad we couldn't have returned the
favor.

Reagan cut out Social Security Survivor's Benefits for those of us who lost our
parent(s) before the age of 18 - unless you were a full time college student and
younger than 18. The result for me was attending community college at night on
a full time basis, while attending high school in the daytime in order to still
receive the benefits for my family. I was a junior in high school and a
freshman in college all at the same time!
It's why I am a Democrat today!

I'm fed up. After the Paul Wellstone memorial wake the "news media" crucified those who spoke the truth about him. And in turn influenced the out come of the election. Now all TV news programs stretches the truth about Reagan's accomplishments and hides his misdeeds with lies and half truths. My question is when are we going to stand up and fight against the regressive right. If we stand together we can take our country back!!
