takes on Rick Santorum

Here's the article....followed by my comments!!

WASHINGTON (April 23) - Rick Santorum, the Senate's third-ranked Republican who is under fire from gay-rights groups and Democrats, says he has ''no problem with homosexuality - I have a problem with homosexual acts.''

Rick.....could you define these acts?  What are you talking about?.....oral sex?  good taste and culture?   Would the world be a better place if these were outlawed?  How long have you had this "problem" Senator Santorum?  Have you sought help?

In a wide-ranging interview with The Associated Press two weeks ago, Santorum, R-Pa., said he believes homosexual acts are a threat to the American family. He drew criticism from gays and Democrats after parts of the interview - during which he compared homosexuality to bigamy, polygamy, incest and adultery - were published Monday.

Rick...why is it that right wingers NEVER own a dictionary???  Let me help you out here.

bigamy:
:
the act of entering into a marriage with one person while still legally married to another
polgamy:  marriage in which a spouse of either sex may have more than one mate at the same time (ask Orin Hatch about the Mormon Church of old)
incest:
sexual intercourse between persons so closely related that they are forbidden by law to marry; also : the statutory crime of such a relationship
adultery:
voluntary sexual intercourse between a married man and someone other than his wife or between a married woman and someone other than her husband; also : an act of adultery (Hey...I like this definition.....according to Merriam-Webster, President Clinton did NOT commit adultery....but since right wingers don't own dictionaries I guess they don't realize this)

Now Rick...pardon me if I am confused here...but what does homosexuality have to do with any of these definitions???

''I have no problem with homosexuality - I have a problem with homosexual acts, as I would with acts of other, what I would consider to be, acts outside of traditional heterosexual relationships,'' Santorum said during an interview taped April 7 in his Senate office.

Again Rick....you have me confused here....what "homosexual acts" are you having problems with?  And again....what are "acts of other, that you consider to be outside of traditional heterosexual relationships"?  Please be specific....there are literally millions of married Americans that fear that we may be doing something illegal!!!  Are these "acts of other" going to be defined in the Patriot Two Act?  Will Ashcroft hire a group of sex police to investigate those committing these acts in their own bedrooms?  Are these "acts of other" in any way considered terrorist acts???  For Christ's sake Rick....please be specific!!

''And that includes a variety of different acts, not just homosexual,'' he said. ''I have nothing, absolutely nothing against anyone who's homosexual. If that's their orientation, then I accept that. And I have no problem with someone who has other orientations. The question is, do you act upon those orientations? So it's not the person, it's the person's actions. And you have to separate the person from their actions.''

Senator Santorum....please please explain these "variety of different acts, not just homosexual".....and please tell us how these are different than "acts of other"!!!!  Senator...how do you propose we STOP these acts that you have "problems" with?  Do you think the Supreme Court can outlaw these acts in all the bedrooms across the country?  We could call it the "Santorum Act"....but Rick...you are going to have to get more specific....please define these acts....let us know what acts YOU  specifically have"problems" with.....we are all dying to know!!!!
