There are a lot of folks who can't understand how we came to have an
oil shortage here in America.

Well, there's a very simple answer. Nobody bothered to check the oil.
We just didn't know we were getting low. The reason for that is purely
geographical.


All our oil is in Alaska, Texas, California, and Oklahoma.

All our dipsticks are in Washington DC.

 Pentagon accused of trying to hide funds

The Pentagon's internal auditor is investigating allegations that Defence Department officials tried to hide $US20 million ($30 million) from Congress.

It is alleged that they tried to temporarily put the funds in the budget of the secretive Special Operations Command, which oversees the Green Berets and other units that specialise in clandestine operations. Officials there were first asked to hide $US40 million, the St Petersburg Times reported on Monday. However, it said, they told Pentagon officials that they could not handle so large an amount.

What trouble are you trying to stir up? Don't go there.

As far as Bartcop not sending stickers--he probably is just delayed, overworked and will surely get to it someday. Bartcop has always treated me with utmost respect and often, kind words. Just keep emailing him--heavens knows how often my mailbox gets full and email does get lost (I have 700+ waiting to be read right this moment) I feel his pain.

Send me the snail mail addresses of those who wrote you about not getting Bartcop stickers and I will send them an AllHatNoCattle sticker for free! Democrats worth their salt stick together, through thick and thin.

When I called the CIA in July, they confirmed Mrs. Wilson's involvement in a mission for her husband on a secondary basis, who is -- he is a former Clinton administration official. *They asked me not to use her name, but never indicated it would endanger her or anybody else.

*Gee, I wonder if Novak's source at the CIA is still leaking info to Novak, since Novak did not honor his request.  The CIA does keep a record of everyone called, in and out.  Tenet knows if the leak did come from the CIA.

Neptune has spots. The Solar System's outermost gas giant shows a nearly uniform blue hue created by small amounts of methane drifting in a thick atmosphere of nearly colorless hydrogen and helium. Dark spots do appear, however, that are : large high-pressure systems that swirl in Neptune's cold cloud tops. Two dark spots are visible in the above picture taken by the robot Voyager 2 spacecraft in 1989: an Earth-sized Great Dark Spot located on the far left, and Dark Spot 2 located near bottom. A bright cloud dubbed Scooter accompanies the Great Dark Spot. Recent computer simulations indicate that scooters are methane clouds that might commonly be found near dark spots.
