...Those of us who've been trashing the Moron's Foreign and Domestic policies have been taking heat from the media Morons for being so negative. Oh boo hoo. We have no alternatives. We're just negative. We stand for nothing. Blah, blah, blah. Well, it's hard to stay silent when witnessing the march to fascism; when watching the deliberate bankrupting of America; when watching the deliberate lying and deceit; when watching the dissolution of the Middle Class; when watching the destruction of the wall of separation between Church and State.

Okay...'nuff said.

Here's some of my solutions. Feel free to dissect and discuss. I'll be honored to post, unedited and uncensored, and all rebuttals, counter-arguments, etc.

1. Repeal the two tax cuts for the top 1% of the wealthiest Americans;

2. Make permanent the tax cuts for the rest of us;

3. Allow up to $10 Million exemption on the Inheritance Tax; thereafter tax the amount over that at 25%;

4. Raise the taxable amount of FICA (Social Security Tax income) to $200,000 up from the now pitiful $65,000;.....

Just finished reading reading Al Franken's response to the fox law suit.

Here's an excerpt form the court papers, filed by fu*ks news :

In its court papers, Fox described the author and liberal commentator as "neither a journalist nor a television news personality. He is not a well-respected voice in American politics; rather, he appears to be shrill and unstable. His views lack any serious depth or insight."

Fox alleged that Franken was "either intoxicated or deranged" when he attacked the network and conservative host Bill O'Reilly at an April press correspondents dinner. The lawsuit also says that Franken has been described as "increasingly unfunny."

This writing smells like something from the poisoned keyboard of anny fanny.....

I think both she and f*cks news are becoming increasing un funny....

I don't think it's so much that southerners keep trying to win the civil war by reenacting it. They do reenactments up north. They even do them out here in the Pacific Northwest, which had virtually nothing to do with the civil war. It's just boys wanting to play soldier (I am amazed how many wifes get sucked into this, making and wearing the big frilly dresses in the heat and rain).

What bothers me is that white southerners won't give up on how badly they were wronged by the civil war. And, this includes whites whose ancestors were Yankees or still in Europe during the war. (I have lived in the south to experience it firsthand.)

I find reenacting the Civil War akin to reenacting the bombing of Hiroshima or Nagasaki. It is absurd. Even if it is little boys wanting to play soldier--then they should join the military.
I agree with you how badly white southerners were wronged...they still are, the south still won't let in unions hence: poverty in all skin colors and a lower quality of life, education, clean air, etc...
