Disturbing News

Subject: How to spot a Republican
First they have that
“deer caught in the headlight” stare----------------------------------
Next they reluctantly admit that George W. Bush hasn’t done too
well--------------
Then comes the proclamation that “all politicians” are
crooks----------------------
And they didn’t vote for George----WINK-----WINK----yea right!!!!!!!!!!
Then they proudly proclaim that they vote for the man and have voted for some
Democrats---------------
Now lets see, they are always crying about Clinton, they can’t stand John Kerry
or Al Gore, they despise Walter Mondale and Jimmy Carter, they are 35 years old
and have just been voting for 17 years now, so who did they vote for???
Now, comes the speech about how narrow minded and stupid you are to always
blindly vote Democrat. And they are so well informed, after all they get their
news from Fox News and O’Riley and Rush “Blow-Bag” Limbaugh and whine about the
“Liberal Media”.
Watch out---------now comes the “pitch” about the Democrats wanting to support
all these sorry people who won’t work, never mind that the record shows, 5% of
the budget goes to welfare and 21% goes to the rich and big corporations.
They want to mention the “stained” blue dress, but it has never occurred to them
that their Republican Party spent two years and over 60 million dollars to come
up with that dress, nor have they ever gave a thought to the probability that
this wasn’t the first time or the only people to have engaged in this type of
activity while President or a Congressman or Senator and I know the Republicans
are too noble to have “set” this up, after all, I am sure any woman would save
the dress in a plastic bag and not have it cleaned. They try to come up with a
big spill wanting to thank Clinton for teaching their children about oral sex.
They seem to forget that after spending all that money and making sure it was on
TV, people didn’t seem to get too upset about it, so they, the Republicans
insisted that the transcripts were released to the newspapers, who published
them word for word and any 3rd grader who could read, got all the little
details.
Last, but not least, they want to make jokes about Hillary Clinton. I am not
sure why, maybe they are scared to death of a woman who is not as dumb as a
rock, or they are trying to get your mind off the terrible mess the Republicans
and George W. have gotten us into. Maybe they would like Hillary better if she
would tell a story about Bill milking a horse, a male horse like “dumber than a
rock” Laura Bush told on George.
Paul
Thanks for writing Paul.
The slow motion coup d'etat by the GOP escalated with Clinton's adultery impeachment, went into full speed with Jeb handing Florida to W on the family silver platter and continues with the Bungled Bush wars. But remember, after 9-11, W told us to shop! I felt so much safer when he told us that, didn't you?
For the first time in US history, a woman has a shot a becoming president and sadly she is a divisive factor within her own party.
Hillary at her worst would be better than any Republican at his best.
I hear you about the many newspapers that published those transcripts. My hometown newspaper at the time, the Pensacola News Journal published those transcripts in full -- and this same newspaper claims to be a family newspaper! It sure was a inexpensive way to teach sex education to our youngins! YeeHaw!
Republicans have again dragged this country into debt and has now bungled 2 wars. Why would anyone want to vote Republican? Beats me.
FLASH--WASH.DC: Philip Morris said today that the tobacco settlement is
costing so much money that they may have to lay off two Republican senators.

State-sanctioned teams
of computer hackers were able to break through the security of virtually every
model of California's voting machines and change results or take control of some
of the systems' electronic functions, according to a University of California
study released Friday.
The researchers
"were able to bypass physical and software security in every machine they
tested,'' said Secretary of State Debra Bowen, who authorized the "top to
bottom review" of every voting system certified by the state.

Iraqi Team Captain Speaks
The Iraqi captain, who
like the rest of the team wore black armbands to remember the dozens killed by
car-bombers following the side's semi-final victory over South Korea on
Wednesday, said the United States presence in his homeland was a "problem".
"I want America to go out," he said. "Today, tomorrow, or the day after

I wish the
American people didn't invade Iraq and hopefully it will be over soon."
Bad news: a NASA computer was sabotaged. Good news: there is no evidence the perpetrator was wearing disposable diapers.

A young green turtle swims in a holding tank at the Turtle Conservation Center on Wanan Island, part of the Penghu archipelago off western Taiwan, Wednesday, July 25, 2007. Mass killings have decimated the ranks of green turtles on the offshore Taiwanese islands of Penghu, but now locals are working hard to preserve the rare species from further devastation. There are only about 200,000 of the creatures world wide, of which about 100 are on Penghu, a collection of picturesque islets about 40 kilometers (25 miles) off the western Taiwanese coast.
