"Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama had another big debate last night. ... It was good. And Clinton accused Obama of plagiarism. Obama denied that what he did was plagiarism. You know, look, I don't want to comment on that. But you've gotta admit, wouldn't it be great to one day have a president that could pronounce words like 'plagiarism'?" --Jay Leno

Retraction Or Flip Flop?

Republican presidential front-runner John McCain on Monday retracted his earlier statement he would lose the November election if he did not convince Americans they were winning the war in Iraq.

"I don't mean that I'll, quote, lose," McCain told reporters on his campaign bus. "I mean that it's an important issue in the judgment of the American voters."

"It's not often I retract a comment," said the likely Republican nominee.

"The New York Times says that John McCain had a close, personal relationship with a beautiful, young, female lobbyist. Do you believe this? Think about it. A senator, who's a Republican having sex with a woman." --Jay Leno

Subject: Photo Op Flop

Hi Lisa

For about 5 years now I have enjoyed A.H.N.C. visiting it on most days for a laugh, or to cheer me up when my government was involved in various kinds of ugly behavior.

I talked about your site to my friends and sent them links. As of today all of that is over.

I can’t even begin to tell you of the revulsion I felt when I saw “Photo Op Flop”. You’ve sunk even lower than the Sludge Report with your attack on the likely Democratic Nominee. Even Matt Sludge didn’t do something nearly as offensive as A.H.N.C. did with this Photoshop attack on Barrack Obama. A.H.N.C. comes off of my blogroll and will be deleted from my favorites list. I will never visit your site again. I predict that your site will becomes popular briefly with the Wingnuts, That’s exactly who you’ll need attract as Democrats flee from your disgusting site.

You have the sincere gratitude of John McCain’s Campaign even if they don’t communicate it to you. You don’t have mine because I’m a DEMOCRAT!

Lighten up. Presidential candidates in costumes are funny. Have you lost your ability to laugh? And why would you consider the toon offensive? Because Obama is in Somali dress? What's wrong with that?

Will Rogers was right when he said about 75 years ago, "I'm not a member of an organized party. I'm a Democrat."

Well, look at it this way, you had five years of free entertainment from AHNC. And you're very welcome.

One thing you can count on from me is that I will support Obama if he is the Democratic nominee. Will you support Hillary if she is the Democratic nominee?

Obama's turban: Playing dress-up old hat for politicians

As the Democratic presidential contestants battle toward a possible resolution in the March 4 primaries,
it doesn't take much to set off the campaigns and commentators. On Monday, it only took an 18-month-old photograph of Barack Obama dressed as a Somali elder during a visit to Kenya...Obama told WOAI radio in San Antonio: "The notion that the Clinton campaign would be trying to circulate this as a negative on the same day that Sen. Clinton was giving a speech about how we repair our relationships around the world is sad."

Republican Shenanigans News

"Now that he is the Republican frontrunner, it looks like John McCain has changed his position on torture. He's now in favor of waterboarding, but only in very limited cases -- like if you're editor of the New York Times." --Jay Leno

Why do politicians put on stupid headgear? To keep us laughing!!!!!! Here's a funny picture of Hillary in a hat!

Thanks for keeping me sane. I sent a donation.

Sherry - Hillary supporter in NYC

Thanks so much, Sherry.  Several people sent me that same picture. I think Hillary looks cute!

You know what is impressive to me? With all the negative press on Hillary and all the positive press on Obama, Hillary is still in the race. That's impressive.

Plus I'm always for who FoxNews hates the most!

Rock-The-Voter News

"They have debated so much that they are now debating about debating. Did you see this? A lot of this debate was about the power of words. Hillary said, 'Actions speak louder than words,' Then Obama said, 'Words can speak as loud as actions.' And then McCain said, 'Speak louder!'" --Bill Maher

Lisa, I bet you'll take heat from the Obama supporters for that cartoon you did. I found it funny, but of course I can laugh at men in strange outfits.

I hate to think how Obama will handle the GOP attack machine if he is the Dem nominee. And why is he upset that the photo was released?

Ed

I've only received 4 emails critical of that toon.

I don't know why Obama or his supporters are upset with that photo.

Obama should have said about the photo, "Yeah, I may look odd in my father's Somali costume. You got a problem with that?" Instead, he believes Drudge and blames Hillary for a photo of him!

I think the GOP will chew up Obama and spit him out if he is going to react as he did with the re-release of that photo. There's a reason the GOP has given Obama the velvet glove treatment -- they're waiting in the bushes for him. Pun intended.

Lisa,

How many anti-Hillary and anti-Obama emails do you receive on your fantastic website.?

Just curious.

Thank you.

El

Thanks for writing, El. Interesting question.

I receive about 5 anti-Hillary to 1 anti-Obama emails. And the anti-Hillary emails border on vicious, if not totally vicious. The anti-Obama emails are mainly about his lack of experience compared to Hillary, not one was ever nasty. I receive twice as many pro-Hillary emails compared to pro-Obama, which I find curious.
