"Washington is a town where there's all kinds of allegations. You've heard much of the allegations. And if people have got solid information, please come forward with it. Rove Role in Leak Case Defended
Newsday -10-7-03
Washington - The White House yesterday
appeared to be laying the groundwork for a defense of key presidential adviser
Karl Rove in discussing the Justice Department's investigation of a Bush
administration leak of a covert CIA officer's identity to a columnist.
In a White House news briefing yesterday, presidential spokesman Scott McClellan
responded to questions about Rove's alleged role in the leak by taking pains to
distinguish between unauthorized disclosure of classified information and
"setting the record straight" on criticism of the administration's handling of
intelligence on Iraq....

TUCKER CARLSON: But first, the answer to a trivia question about the
1990s that we posed a moment ago. And it was, how many special investigations
were launched during the Clinton years. Was it five, said 18 percent, seven,
said 66 percent, or 10, said 16 percent. It was, in fact, seven. People have
great memories. I'm impressed.
JAMES CARVILLE: And all that that produced was, somebody got convicted of
receiving illegal football tickets. There were 30 convictions in the Reagan
administration, one in the Clinton.

As expected, the ozone hole near Earth's South Pole is back again this year. This year's hole, being slightly larger than North America, is larger than last year but short of the record set on 2000 September 10.
